Characters of Dead Hearts

Characters are the most important thing to any book. And well, with work and much hoping, perhaps Dead Hearts will be a book. And if that's the case, well it sure needs some characters.
Dead Hearts has a plot, I swear it does. However, with so much that's going on, I'd rather not spoil the book for people that want to read it in the future. However, that doesn't mean I can't spoil just a little.
Who's the main character?
Good, good question yeah, good. Well, I guess, that'd be Clover Sparks. Yeah... she's got some issues.
But that doesn't matter, right? She's a hero!
Well actually... not exactly...
The other main character: Charlotte Night. Our true hero isn't she?
Nope sorry, not her either.
So who is the hero?
Well, it's not Charlotte Night. That's for certain.
Maybe Fraser Hunt then, he seems hero material?
Wrong again. Fraser Hunt is most surely no hero.
Well then, who is the hero of Dead Hearts?
